CUSAT EMAIL
CUSAT email creation, password reset etc.

Email ID applications are available online through cusat website. Applicants are expected to receive a confirmation email regarding the login credentials to the given alternate email address.

There is no need to send the hardcopies of the email applications to this office. A consolidated list of applications containing applicants name and their preferred email id to be sent to webmail@cusat.ac.in from the official email of the Head of the Department / Office .

After obtaining a CUSAT email address, we encourage registration to our ldap server for enabling single sign-on to many services. Please register at http://ldap.cusat.ac.in/

BIOMETRIC PUNCHING REGISTRATION
Biometric Punching related matters

Any related matter may be communicated to biometric@cusat.ac.in

For bimetric punching registration, first of all, register through the official website of the University. https://cusat.ac.in -> Intranet -> Apply Biometric ID and follow the guidelines given there. After submitting the details, the applicants can preview their application and sample ID card. After verifying the details, take a print of the application and submit to the unit head for countersignature. The countersigned application should be submitted directly to CIRM after getting appointment through the intercom given below.

STAFF ID CARD
Biometric Chip enabled Staff ID Card

Any related matter may be communicated to biometric@cusat.ac.in

After biometric punching registration, all staff will get biometric ID card from CIRM. Any designation change may please be communicated to biometric@cusat.ac.in after making necessary changes in their personal details through their login at https://cusat.ac.in -> Intranet -> Apply Biometric ID. All staff can view their ID card sample through their login. Any corrections on personal details after printing id card will be the sole responsibility of the employee. Any ID card reprint as a result of erroneous data submission will be chargable as per University norms.

PENSIONER'S ID CARD
Queries related to the ID Card of Pensioners

ID Card of the pensioners will be printed from CIRM after getting valid data from Audit C Section of the Finance Wing. Distribution of ID card of the pensioners will be done from the Audit C section. Any query from pensioners on their ID cards will not be attended from CIRM.

STUDENT ID CARDS
ID Cards of Students Other than Research Scholars

Any related matter may be communicated to studentsidcard@cusat.ac.in

The ID cards of students will be printed on the basis of data obtained from the Directorate of Admissions. A sample ID card list will be sent to the department for verification. In case editing required, permission will be granted from CIRM. After getting confirmation from the concerned department, ID cards will be printed from CIRM. Any query from students on their ID cards will not be attended from CIRM.
